The International Literature Festival Krusa Laman 2012 - Writers Unlimited Curacao was held on the days 20 and 21 April 2012. The festival lasted two days. The Literary Debate was held on the first day at Teatro Luna Blou where some authors debated with each other and the Literary Night was held on the second day at Villa Maria. This was a very interesting evening where several authors read or presented some of their work on stage. It was an evening full of stories, poems and singing.

The invited authors were David van Reybrouck from Belgium, the poet Lucille Berry-Haseth from Curaçao, the writer Petina Gappah from Zimbabwe, the writer Helon Habila from Nigeria, the writer and poet Cathleen Giterson from Curaçao and the poet Rodaan Al Galidi from the Netherlands descendant of Iraq. There was also storytelling by Guineta de Palm and a nice presentation by the group Serenada. This evening the famous author Dr. Frank Martinus Arion received a tribute.
The masters of ceremonies were Merietza Haakmat and Favell Maduro.
Each author presented in his own language. Everyone could follow the translations into English and Papiamentu on the big screen.
